Rick Graalum

As a former business owner, I truly understand the operation of a successful business; from employee and payroll expenses to operating and fixed expenses. With the pressure of increasing operating costs, and now the out-of-control inflation rates, that is affecting all businesses, every business has to find areas to cut expenses. This is why I joined the Merchant Services Industry, to help businesses find ways to reduce their operating cost and put more of their hard-earned dollars back to where they belong to, the company, and not to the credit card company. The monthly savings we provide can be reused for offsetting payroll, advertising, operating expenses, or even your personal retirement fund.

Now a little about Rick Graalum and who I am; I married Terryl Sturlaugson-Graalum November 1979, we have four children and seven grandchildren. My 18-year career started with Whitehall Laboratories, as a pharmaceutical sales rep for 16 years and as District Manager for 2 years. In 1998, I was offered the opportunity to purchase The Pierce Co., Konica Dealership, Ab Dick Dealership and Full-line- Office products with a staff of 40 personal. This 17-year business venture gave me the insight and knowledge for today’s business issues and how I can be of value to other businesses.

I was introduced to the Merchant Service Industry in 2018, after retirement. My wife has owned her own business since 1986 and I set out to help find a reputable credit card processing company that wasn’t constantly trying to rip her off and take advantage of her business. This was not an easy task, I found that there are more bad ones than good ones. North Country Processing gave her options to help save on credit card processing fees to actually help her business not take advantage of her business.

By joining Michael Charls and his team at North Country Processing, I could provide value and trust to every business. With my experience and background, this gave me the opportunity to “Giveback” to business owners. NCP provides 100% transparency with an A+ Customer Service and an A+ Business Ethics, which in today’s credit card industry is rare to find.
